FMC Printing, a well-established printing company with over 25 years of experience, is looking for a dedicated, hard-working team player to join our team as a 1st Shift- 2nd Pressman.
The primary responsibility for this position will be supporting and operating our Heidelberg CX102 40-inch press. The successful candidate will also be expected to cross-train on our Heidelberg XL 106 LED press as we continue to expand our capabilities.
Responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with the setup, operation, and maintenance of the Heidelberg CX102 press
- Supporting the Lead Pressman to ensure efficient, high-quality production
- Cross-training to learn how to run the CX press as a lead
- Maintaining paper supply, ink, and other press consumables during production
- Performing routine press maintenance and keeping the work area clean and organized
- Inspecting printed sheets to ensure quality standards are met
- Cross-training and assisting on the Heidelberg XL 106 press as needed
- Working safely and effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Overtime as needed, with overtime pay
- Performs other duties as required
The ideal candidate will have previous experience working as a Pressman or 2nd Pressman on Heidelberg or similar sheetfed presses, possess strong mechanical aptitude, and be committed to producing high-quality work while contributing to a team-oriented environment.
