Welder / Fabricator
Looking for a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team in Lubbock, Texas.
This position is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, welding experience, and the ability to fabricate and install aftermarket truck accessories. You’ll work in a hands‑on shop environment building high‑quality products and custom installations for our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate and weld components for truck beds, flatbeds, bumpers, grill guards, and custom accessories
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work orders to complete builds accurately
- Use MIG welding, cutting torches, grinders, and fabrication tools to assemble metal components
- Fit, align, and weld parts to meet quality and structural standards
- Install truck accessories including grill guards, toolboxes, utility beds, and flatbeds
- Operate hand and power tools to bolt, mount, and secure components
- Inspect finished work for accuracy, weld quality, and proper fitment
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Follow all shop safety procedures and OSHA guidelines
Qualifications
- Experience in MIG welding and metal fabrication required
- Ability to read and follow instructions, blueprints, and technical drawings
- Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools
- Experience in automotive, fabrication, or equipment installation preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a shop environment
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
