American Traveler is seeking a chemo-certified RN for an Oncology Infusion Clinic position requiring at least 1 year of chemotherapy experience and an active OK or compact RN license.

Work in the Oncology Infusion Clinic (Main Infusion Center) of a hospital setting
-
Adult oncology patient population receiving chemotherapy and infusion therapies
-
Administers PO, SC injections, chemotherapy drugs, and other medications as ordered
-
Initiates, regulates, and monitors IV infusions and blood products
-
Assists physicians during conscious sedation and minor diagnostic procedures
-
Day shift schedule with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, 40 hours weekly
-
Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or current multistate compact RN license (eNLC)

Current BLS and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association

ONS Fundamentals of Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Administration certificate required

Current ONS/ONCC Chemotherapy Immunotherapy Certificate required

Minimum of 1 year of chemotherapy nursing experience required

Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program required; BSN preferred

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Full DOB and SSN required for consideration

Provides chemotherapy administration and patient education on treatment side effects and care plans

Documents patient responses to nursing interventions and communicates changes in physician orders

Coordinates patient follow-up care, including referrals and post-visit phone triage

Delegates tasks to support staff and collaborates with physicians and medical personnel

Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for this position

Candidates who previously worked with this facility may extend a contract only once for a total of 26 weeks, followed by a required 6-month separation before reapplying
