Overview
We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Automotive Porter to join our dealership team. This role involves providing exceptional guest services, assisting with vehicle movement, and supporting the overall dealership operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a valid driver's license, and experience in hospitality or retail environments. Bilingual abilities and dealership experience are a plus. Responsibilities
- Safely move and park vehicles within parking areas, ensuring proper placement and security
- Greet guests warmly and assist with vehicle arrivals and departures
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing customer inquiries courteously and efficiently
- Assist with vehicle delivery and pick-up processes, including test drives when necessary
- Support dealership staff with various tasks such as cashiering, retail math, and cash handling
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dealership lot and surrounding areas
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate vehicle movements and customer needs
- Support delivery driver duties if required, ensuring timely and safe deliveries
Experience
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or retail environments preferred
- Driving experience, including familiarity with manual transmission vehicles, is essential
- Dealership or automotive industry experience is a plus but not required
- Experience as a delivery driver or cashiering role is advantageous
- Bilingual skills are highly desirable to assist diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately are important for success in this role
