Role and Responsibilities:
Prepare customer records for scanning in order to complete BTCO’s mission: To provide superior customer services through a fully integrated workforce that promotes technical careers for people of all abilities.
- Requires removing staples/rubber bands/binder clips/paper clips/etc. and taping down loose post its/paper so that documents can go through a high-speed scanner without obstruction.
- Requires organizational ability to keep customer documents in the order they were received. Paperwork must be neat and processed according to the project instructions.
- Review physical documents to see when there is only a small amount of text on it to mark it, and ensure information is not being covered by post its/small paper.
- Verify documents with box inventories, including reviewing folder names with the box inventory page and notifying a lead or supervisor when a correction is needed.
- Review documents to see when they need to be scanned in grayscale, such as photos, faded forms, red pencil, drawings, etc.
- Display the ability to consistently meet production requirements on time and quality.

- Maintain confidentiality when handling customer records in compliance with HIPAA and State and Federal laws.
- Uphold BTCO policies and procedures.
- Follow all instructions both written and verbal.
- Perform additional duties as directed by a Lead, Assistant Site Supervisor, and Site Manager.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly working area.
- Share recommendations to improve work product, work environment, and project success.
- Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalency
- Familiarity with computer operations
- Basic Microsoft windows computer operation skills required
Typical Mental Demands
Ability to focus on a task, follow a sequential process, and have the ability to follow procedures as referenced in a process manual. Must be willing and able to work under direct supervision.
Typical Physical Demands
Requires sitting, standing, bending, and reaching. May require lifting up to 50 pounds or more. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate machines such as digital equipment, computers, copier, fax and telephone.

Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
