The Hyatt Shared Service is seeking is a Senior Analyst- Finance Evolution. This position will be responsible for executing all aspects of our Finance process and Evolution efforts at the Corporate office through thoughtful and creative innovation. This position will also help Finance in Advancing Care for our colleagues by streamlining processes and eliminating mundane tasks allowing our colleagues to spend their collective time on higher-value work, which will allow them to focus on additional analytical tasks that drive business insights and ultimately reduce Hyatt’s costs and increase hotel-level profitability and thereby increases the value of the hotels.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Translates identified business needs to technical requirements and designs, develops, deploys and supports sustainable transformative solutions such as dashboards, scorecards and various other forms of process automation.
- Performs data manipulation tasks using available and most appropriate data management tools such as Alteryx, Tableau, RPA, SAS or SQL queries and database stored procedures.
- Responsible for estimating project efforts and resources required to complete identified projects and provides periodic status updates on the progress of development.
- Schedules and participates in design working sessions with key business stakeholders.
- Collaborates with all other IT departments (i.e. Financial Systems, ServiceNow, Data & Analytics, etc.) to ensure solutions are best in class.
- Ensure Compliance with Hyatt’s change management program including:
- Responsible for moving the workflow to UAT
- First level of assistance for any UAT defects
- Updates the open defects in the defect log
- Responsible for moving the workflow to production.
- Responsible for monitoring the health of the solutions in production
- Responds to incident tickets and resolves production issues as part of ongoing support
- Stay informed evaluate new technology solutions to streamline process and drive cost reduction/avoidance
- Maintain a global focus to ensure that solutions and our knowledge base is shared with teams around the world
- Provide training and continuous monitoring during and after project completion to ensure compliance with the changed process
- Encourage and drive adoption of innovative products as well as an “Evolution Mindset” among colleagues who are hesitant to change
