Job Summary
Home care for awesome (and humble) ventilator dependent quadriplegic. The job is mostly ADL's and of course ventilator troubleshooting and management. Don't be afraid of ventilators. I've taught laypeople to care for me. Will provide all needed training. Very healthy and stable. Easy vent settings. Needs minimal suctioning. Easy one on one patient care in a low stress environment. Great job for students as there is ample time to study. Free high speed wifi. State of Wisconsin certification preferred but not required. State certification involves filling out some paperwork (it's all done online and we will help you) and taking the State's ventilator training class. The class isn't designed to pass or fail people. It's just to give people a working knowledge of ventilators. Here is information about what an independent nurse provider is: http://wisconsinphp.org Indeed requires a pay range, but the pay is LPN 29.75/hr and RN 44.63/hr. Please inquire even if you can only do 1 shift per month. Looking for someone to work Wednesday or Thursday or both on pm shift ( 3pm-11pm)
