SUMMARY: To ensure that guests receive quality consistent food. To provide the servers with support and assistance in expediting food products to the guest. To keep all areas clean, dry, and safe for other workers.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Operate all kitchen equipment.
· Prep stations and/or prep for banquets but not limited to soups, stocks, sauces etc…
· Restock all supplies
· Keep area in kitchen clean and free of debris and water.
· Know all recipes, ingredients for the stations but limited to a specific station
· Produce all dishes in a timely manner
· Assist other restaurant personnel with tasks when necessary.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
· Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, menus, and customer requests. Ability to effectively present information one-on-one to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
· Ability to add and subtract two digit numbers.
· Ability to perform operations involving units of weight measurements, volume, and distance.
REASONING ABILITY
· Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out simple one-or-two step instructions.
· Ability to deal with standardized situations with only occasional or no variables.

· Hot liquids and chemical cleaning solutions are present and must be carefully handled.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
