Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness
- Manage guest relations by addressing questions, special requests, and feedback with professionalism
- Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently met during food handling and serving
- Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting kitchen staff when needed
- Handle cash transactions accurately through cashiering systems, including OpenTable reservations when applicable
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food service experience is preferred, especially in fine dining or nightlife environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during busy hours
- Proven ability in upselling techniques to enhance sales while delivering exceptional guest service
- Experience in guest services roles like host/hostess or bartender is a plus
- Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and order calculations
