American Traveler is hiring a full-time WI LTC RN for a Long Term Care nursing home position requiring an active WI or compact RN license and BLS certification.

Long term care nursing home setting
-
Full-time schedule with a mix of Day and PM shifts
-
7 Day shifts (6am-2pm) and 3 PM shifts (2pm-10pm) per schedule cycle
-
Every other weekend required, working Day shift (6am-2pm)
-
13-week assignment length
-
Active WI or compact RN license required
-
Current BLS/CPR certification required
-
Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred
-
1+ years of related work experience preferred
-
Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail required
-
Provide timely communication to physicians and families regarding significant changes in resident condition
-
Complete resident assessments and medication administration following the 5 Rights
-
Perform wound care and assessments as needed
-
Assist CNAs with answering call lights and monitor residents for changes in condition
-
Act as a leader on the floor by assessing and directing situations as needed
-
Report allegations of abuse, neglect, or misappropriation to the Director of Nursing and Administrator

Maintain accurate and thorough resident charting and records
