Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. We're looking for high performing, energetic, passionate, and focused Nurses that can read the room, are comfortable in a hotel/home environment and naturally proactive in patient care.
Responsibilities
- Communication is KEY
- Training and upskilling/testing on RC processes, practices, and protocols
- Highly responsive to communications (text, phone call, email, meetings)
- Reaching out to patients prior to recovery
- Memorizing RC & Surgeon protocols
- Patient med and recovery education
- Executing RC Recovery protocols including assessments & vitals monitoring
- Transporting patients from surgery center to recovery location (Situational)
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
- ICU (Highly Preferred), PACU background
- Prior Post-op Plastics experience
- Minimum 5 years experience as RN
- Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are a plus
- Strong clinical skills including patient care, administering treatments, and medication management
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with healthcare teams and interact with patients and their families
- Knowledge of Post-op plastics medical protocols, compliance standards, and best practices
- Professionalism is a must
- A passion for plastics is a must
- A strong commitment & understanding of both modern medicine and holistic care
- Be accessible, responsive, and flexible to scheduling changes
Work Location: Multiple surgery center PACUs, hotels, & homes all over DFW
Pay: $45.00 - $60.00 per hour
