Location: Minneapolis, MN
Wage: Starting at $40.00/hr. (Depending on experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:00 am – 2:30 pm

Duties of the senior diesel mechanic:
- Independently troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, electrical, air, and hydraulic systems
- Complete routine safety checks, tune-ups, and DOT inspections to minimize vehicle downtime
- Assist or lead junior mechanics, delegate shop tasks, and ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards
- Accurately document all fleet repairs, account for inventory parts, and perform roadside assistance when needed
Requirements of the senior diesel mechanic:
- 10+ years of proven, progressive mechanical experience on light to heavy equipment, including tractors, trailers, excavators, and forklifts
- Expert knowledge of diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and electronic systems like ECMs
- Current DOT Inspector Certification and HVAC Certification required
- Valid driver’s license with a clean record (Class A CDL or willingness to obtain one)
- Strong leadership capabilities and commitment to maintaining shop compliance and paperwork standards
