Overview
We are seeking dedicated and skilled Class A / Class B drivers to join our team. The ideal candidates will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while operating various types of commercial vehicles. This role involves driving responsibilities that may include operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tankers, and refrigerated trailers. Responsibilities
- Operate Class A or Class B vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes, and cargo.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding routes, schedules, and any issues encountered during transportation.
- Utilize forklifts when necessary for loading/unloading operations.
- Follow company policies and procedures for safe driving practices.
Experience
- Valid Class A or Class B commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Experience operating roll-off trucks, dump trucks, tankers, or refrigerated trailers is preferred.
- Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
- Previous experience in commercial driving or route driving is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
