Delivery Driver – Sample Transport Specialist (Independent Contractor - 1099)
Position is for ON-CALL mostly overnight & early morning. Deliveries can be necessary 24/7 with the majority happening overnight, early morning & during weekends or on Holidays. This is a perfect position for someone with a very flexible schedule. Great candidates include retirees!

Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older with a valid driver’s license
- Insured, reliable & efficient vehicle
- Clean driving record
- Smartphone with GPS and texting capability
- Professional appearance and reliability
- TWIC card is a strong advantage for secured facility access
- Prior courier, rideshare, or delivery experience preferred

Position Summary
We are actively hiring independent drivers to cover dedicated routes and on-call deliveries
Drivers are responsible for transporting lab samples, reports, and other critical materials safely, efficiently, and on time.
We currently have a strong need for overnight, early morning, weekend and holiday coverage.
Responsibilities
- Safely pick up and deliver samples between facilities
- Handle packages with care and maintain temperature control when required
- Follow all DOT and company safety guidelines
- Maintain professional communication with dispatch and clients
- Log routes, mileage, and delivery times accurately
- Report any route issues or incidents promptly
- Maintain business professional appearance (Long Pants & Sleeved shirt with work shoes)
