We are seeking an Experienced Food Server and a Lead Server to join our dynamic team in delivering exceptional guest experiences at our restaurant. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food service, excellent customer relations skills, and proficiency with various POS systems. Responsibilities
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as clover or toast.
- Provide attentive and personalized service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
- Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales opportunities while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Handle cash and credit transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties.
- Assist with food preparation, serving, bussing tables, and maintaining cleanliness of service areas.
- Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and health regulations during all service interactions.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely delivery of orders and address guest needs promptly.
- Manage guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues professionally, and ensuring guest comfort.
- Support host/host duties when necessary, including seating arrangements and guest greeting.
Experience
- 2 years + Proven experience as a Food Server in a FULL SERVICE restaurant,
- Familiarity with POS systems is a must.
- Demonstrated ability in food handling, sanitation practices, and food safety standards.
- Strong skills in time management, upselling techniques, and guest services.
- Experience with food industry operations including serving, bussing, basic math for transactions, and cash handling.
- Background in hospitality or customer service roles that emphasize guest relations and service excellence.
