We are seeking an enthusiastic, organized, and mission-driven Club Program Director to lead programming at one of our Club locations. This position plays a vital role in ensuring our members receive exceptional experiences every day while supporting and supervising our Youth Development Professional team.
Position Summary
The Club Program Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operation of youth programming at an assigned Club location. This position directly supervises Youth Development Professionals (YDPs), coordinates program schedules, monitors program quality, tracks attendance and outcomes, and works closely with the Club Director to create a safe, engaging, and positive environment where young people thrive.

Essential Responsibilities
Staff Leadership
- Directly supervise Youth Development Professionals (YDPs).
- Create staff schedules and ensure appropriate program coverage.
- Coach, mentor, and develop frontline staff through regular feedback.
- Assist with hiring, onboarding, training, and performance evaluations.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and accountable team culture.
Program Management
- Coordinate and oversee all daily Club programming.
- Develop and maintain engaging weekly and monthly program schedules.
- Ensure programs are safe, organized, engaging, and aligned with organizational standards.
- Monitor program quality and continuously improve member experiences.
- Ensure activities support academic success, healthy lifestyles, leadership development, and character growth.
Administration & Operations
- Track daily attendance and participation.
- Maintain accurate program records and reports.
- Ensure required documentation is completed on time.
- Monitor supplies, equipment, and program spaces.
- Assist with special events, field trips, and family engagement opportunities.
Youth Development
- Build meaningful relationships with Club members and families.
- Promote a welcoming, inclusive environment where every young person feels they belong.
- Support positive behavior using relationship-based and trauma-informed practices.
- Serve as a positive role model and mentor for youth.
Collaboration
- Work closely with the Club Director to achieve site goals.
- Support organizational initiatives and community partnerships.
- Represent Boys & Girls Clubs of Hamilton professionally throughout the community.
Qualifications
Preferred candidates will have:
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Recreation, Human Services, Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent professional experience
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience preferred
- Experience working with youth in education, recreation, nonprofit, or after-school settings
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Ability to pass all required background checks
- Valid Drivers License
