Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented carpenter/millwork installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing custom millwork, cabinetry, doors, trim, and other woodwork components in residential and commercial settings. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life by interpreting construction plans and schematics, ensuring precise craftsmanship, and maintaining safety standards on-site. Duties
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute millwork installations.
- Install cabinetry, doors, trim, siding, crown molding, and other woodwork components using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
- Measure spaces precisely to ensure proper fitment of fixtures and custom wood pieces.
- Operate woodworking machines such as saws, planers, sanders,, and other fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform heavy lifting of materials such as wood panels, cabinets and other construction materials while adhering to safety protocols.
- Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials; ensure all safety procedures are followed during power tool operation for power tool safety compliance
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet deadlines while ensuring high-quality craftsmanship in all installations.
- Support additional tasks such as caulking, painting touch-ups, fixture installation, as needed for comprehensive project completion.
Qualifications
- Proficiency with hand tools (hammers, chisels), power tools for woodworking (saws, drills)
- Experience working on construction sites with an understanding of site safety protocols including power tool safety standards.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail during installation processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to read schematics and technical drawings efficiently.

Pay: $25.00 - $40.00 per hour
