Overview
Join Pour Over the Rainbow as we strive to serve the best of our islands. Not only to visitors, but most especially to our local audience! Despite the goal of making excellent product, we do our best to represent the brands that we work with, through the highest level of hospitality standards. Experience is appreciated, but not necessary. If you're interested to learn about specialty coffee, this position may be the right area to get started.
We are fairly new, and so it may still be slow... But it is a great avenue to hone your latte art skills.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffee drinks via pour over or espresso & teas.
- Take customer orders accurately using POS systems
- Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties with accuracy and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling and preparation procedures
- Provide friendly, attentive service to all guests, addressing questions about menu items and making personalized recommendations
- Restock supplies, organize workstations, and ensure the café environment is inviting and well-maintained
- Support food preparation tasks including assembling sandwiches or snacks as needed for quick service
Experience
- Previous barista experience or background in coffee service is appreciated but not needed
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong time management skills to handle busy periods seamlessly while maintaining quality service
- Proven ability to deliver excellent customer service in fast-paced retail or food industry settings
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and proper sanitation standards
- Experience in serving food and beverages in a café or retail environment is advantageous
