Operates vehicles to transport equipment for the dealership. May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures.
Responsibilities:
o Transports equipment to/from customers and/or between dealer facilities;
o Supports the sales department with equipment delivery as needed
o Handles general maintenance in shop and store, such as trash, cleaning, etc.
o Maintains records of pickup and deliveries and obtains necessary signatures and receipts
o Maintains all required certifications in line with DOT, OSHA and company policy
o Accounts for all time and for all distance traveled in performing assigned duties
o May need to maintain assigned trucks and related equipment in good condition
o May instruct customers on basic equipment operating procedures as required
o Any other duties as assigned
Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge:
o 3+ years’ experience as Delivery driver and trailer operator
o CDL License Preferred
o Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 50 lbs. repeatedly
o Ability to work in outdoor conditions, such as heat and cold
o High School diploma or equivalent experience
Physical Demands
o Ability to lift items weighing upwards to 50 lbs. occasionally
o Load and unload agricultural equipment from trailer
o Frequently standing, bending, kneeling, walking, climbing
o Frequently pushing, reaching and pulling heavy objects
o Ability to work in Cold or Hot outdoor environment
