Job Summary
The Intake Assistant is responsible for contacting newly accepted patients, introducing the organization, and verifying their information in the referral in order to create comprehensive intake records. Intake Assistant reports to the department lead, administrator, and/or DON.
Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and messages.
- Respond to patient/customer inquiries while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.Respond to patient/customer inquiries while maintaining high-quality customer service standards.
- Provide accurate and clear explanations of solutions; manage patient/customer complaints or escalations with professionalism and empathy and work to resolve issues promptly.
- Constantly check and keep faxes updated.
- Print, collect, organize, and manage all accepted referrals, process for information verification and data entry.
- Keep the referral log up to date and make sure all accepted referrals are reported into the log.
- Distribute charts and information in a timely manner for further processes.
- Call newly accepted patients, introduce the company, and verify their information in the referral.
- Maintain a professional, positive, and motivated working environment.
- Implement given tools and materials on daily basis.
- Maintain good communication and professional relationships with the other department.
Job Type: Full-time
Rate: $21.00 - $25 per hour
