Appliance Installer

Position Overview
We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Appliance Installer to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering, installing, and setting up household appliances in customers’ homes while providing great customer service.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, being on the move throughout the day, and working directly with customers. Previous appliance installation, delivery, maintenance, construction, or other hands-on experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver and install household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, dishwashers, ranges, microwaves, and other appliances
- Remove and haul away old appliances when needed
- Properly connect water lines, drain lines, electrical cords, vents, and other appliance connections
- Test appliances after installation to make sure everything is operating correctly
- Safely load, unload, and move appliances without damaging the product or customer's home
- Communicate directly with customers and provide professional, friendly service
- Explain basic appliance operation to customers when needed
- Troubleshoot minor installation issues
- Maintain tools, equipment, and delivery vehicles
- Work closely with other team members to complete daily delivery and installation schedules
- Follow all company and safety procedures
What We're Looking For
- Mechanically inclined and comfortable using hand and power tools
- Previous appliance installation, delivery, maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical, or similar hands-on experience is helpful
- Ability to lift and move heavy appliances with proper equipment and assistance
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Comfortable working inside customers' homes
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Willingness to learn — training can be provided for someone with the right attitude and mechanical ability
