Machine Operator - Sharon, PA
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
(30-minute unpaid lunch break; occasional weekend overtime may be required)
Pay: Competitive pay based on experience
Position Overview: Infinity Resources is currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Machine Operator for a manufacturing facility in Sharon, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced individual with machining and material handling experience who takes pride in producing quality work in a safe and efficient environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience operating industrial equipment, accurately measuring materials, and maintaining quality standards while working in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a planer mill and/or milling machine safely and efficiently.
- Use forklifts and overhead cranes to move materials throughout the facility.
- Read and interpret tape measures, fractions, and precision measuring instruments.
- Use calipers to verify product dimensions and ensure quality standards are met.
- Fulfill production and customer orders accurately.
- Complete quality inspection paperwork and production documentation.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality guidelines.
- Work carefully and pay close attention to detail to ensure product accuracy.
Qualifications Required:
- Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or the ability to become certified.
- Experience operating an overhead crane.
- Experience operating a planer mill and/or milling machine.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure, including fractions.
- Ability to use calipers and other precision measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift materials as required.
- Ability to work safely around industrial machinery and equipment.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
