Residential Remodeling Project Manager
Lead Projects. Solve Problems. Keep Jobs Moving.
J&J Construction has been remodeling homes throughout Chicago's western suburbs for over 30 years. As a family-owned Design-Build remodeling company, we specialize in high-quality kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels, home additions, and whole-home renovations.
We're looking for an experienced Residential Remodeling Project Manager who enjoys leading projects from start to finish, solving problems in the field, and taking ownership of the entire jobsite.
This is a full-time, permanent, year-round position.
About the Role
This is a field-based position requiring some hands-on work, not a desk job.
You'll work with subcontractors, communicate with homeowners, meet with inspectors, and ensure every project stays on schedule while meeting J&J Construction's quality standards.
Our Project Manager is responsible for completing the work that falls between the trades. That means you'll step in wherever needed to keep projects moving, whether that's preparing the jobsite for the next subcontractor, carrying materials into the home, completing punch work, cleaning the jobsite, or performing minor skilled carpentry tasks.
If you're looking for a position where you simply supervise others, this is probably not the right fit.
At J&J Construction, we believe great leaders lead by example. No task is beneath anyone on our team if it helps deliver an exceptional experience for our customers.
