The Overnight Industrial Product Filling Technician is responsible for the safe and accurate filling of solvent-based paint products during the overnight hours. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on production skills, and strict adherence to safety and quality standards when handling flammable and hazardous materials. Also, this position requires ability to work between 11PM and 8AM Monday through Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fill and package finished products into cans, pails, and other containers
- Operate mixers, dispersers, and other production equipment
- Ensure proper labeling and compliance with hazardous material requirements for all packaged products
- Clean tanks, mixers, filling equipment, and tools between batches to prevent contamination
- Follow strict safety procedures for handling flammable liquids, and hazardous chemicals
- Maintain proper grounding, bonding, and ventilation practices, especially during solvent and aerosol operations
- Inspect finished batches and filled products for quality standards including fill levels, color, viscosity, and uniformity
- Complete batch records, production logs, and quality documentation accurately
- Stage and move raw materials and finished goods as needed
- Assist other production associates with production related tasks
General Duties
- · Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- · Assist with packaging and production tasks as needed.
- · Communicate with quality, production and warehouse teams to ensure production quotas are maintained.
- · Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- o Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- o High school diploma or equivalent.
- o Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- o Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- o Ability to work in a manufacturing or production environment.
- o Basic computer skills.
- o Good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- o Ability to lift and carry heavy items up to 100 lbs.
- o Frequent standing, bending, and manual handling of materials and containers
- Ability to wear required PPE, including respirators, for extended periods
- Ability to work between the hours of 11PM and 8AM.
Work Environment
- Industrial manufacturing environment focused on filling duties
- Regular exposure to solvents, fumes, and hazardous materials
- Required use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and respirators
- Work performed in ventilated areas with explosion-proof and aerosol-rated equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- o Experience in manufacturing, packaging, or production operations.
- o Experience in color theory and operating color matching software
- o Knowledge of chemical or hazardous material labeling requirements.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
