Job Description
The Radiology Services Manager supervises the operations of the department and ensures that services provided meet the needs of the hospital. Takes ordered x-ray images and performs a variety of diagnostic procedures at a technical level following established guidelines on infant, toddler, preschool, school age, adolescent and young adult patients. Includes preparing patient and equipment, working with PACS, operating various radiology equipment and devices and maintaining films and files. Schedules and assigns staff to meet the requirements of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Manages Patient Care Delivery in Radiology Department
Maintains safety and compliance objectives at all times.
Leads and inspires department personnel to meet professional goals and training objectives.
Organizes and rallies other clinical resources to meet patient care objectives as needed.
Maintains appropriate budget and monitors department expenses.
Required Qualifications:
Radiology Technologist license in the state of Oregon
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT)
Minimum five (5) years radiologic technologist experience
2 years manager/supervisor experience
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Preferred Qualifications:
The pay range for this position is $107,719.04 - $161,578.56. Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
