Experienced Remodeling / Finish Carpenter
Castle Building & Remodeling is looking for an experienced Remodeling/Finish Carpenter to join our team.
Are you an experienced finish carpenter who enjoys working on residential remodeling projects? This position is a great opportunity for a skilled carpenter who takes pride in quality craftsmanship, attention to detail, and working as part of a team.
Castle specializes in kitchen and bathroom remodeling, with most of our work taking place indoors. We offer year-round work and a consistent schedule. In addition to finish carpentry, this role includes framing and demolition as needed.
What You'll Do
You will work with a small team of carpenters to complete high-quality remodeling projects, including:
- Finish and trim carpentry
- Cabinet installation
- Door and window installation
- Accessory and fixture installation
- Framing
- Demolition
- Punch list and finishing work
- Working from plans and project specifications
- Collaborating with other carpenters and the Project Manager
Our Project Managers coordinate the overall project, order materials, communicate with clients, and handle inspections, allowing you to focus on the craftsmanship and successful completion of the work.
What We're Looking For
- 10+ years of professional carpentry experience, with significant experience in residential remodeling
- Experience working as part of a remodeling or design/build team
- Strong finish carpentry skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Experience remodeling older homes and an appreciation for the unique challenges they present
- Ability to read plans and understand residential building and remodeling techniques
- Ability to lead a crew, follow both simple and complex procedures, and work independently when needed
- Strong planning, organization, logistical thinking, and good judgment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work well with homeowners, Project Managers, and other trades
- Reliable transportation
- Your own tools
- Comfortable using a smartphone for work-related communication
- Must be willing to undergo a background check as part of the hiring process

Compensation & Benefits
$30–$38 per hour, based on experience and skill level, plus a comprehensive benefits package.
