Job Summary:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for children and staff. This role is responsible for thorough cleaning and disinfecting of all daycare areas in accordance with health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and disinfect classrooms, toys, play areas, and high-touch surfaces
- Sanitize restrooms, sinks, and diaper-changing stations
- Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
- Empty trash and replace liners
- Restock cleaning and hygiene supplies as needed
- Follow proper sanitation protocols and use child-safe cleaning products
- Secure facility after cleaning (lock doors, turn off lights if required)
Qualifications:
- Prior cleaning or janitorial experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and consistently
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Attention to detail and cleanliness standards
- Must pass background check (common for childcare environments)
Job Types: Part-time, Contract
Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
