Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated educator to join our team as the 5th Grade Self-Contained Classroom Teacher. Students enter the fifth grade from a variety of schools and come together for a formative year during which they are introduced to our Core Values and our distinctive approach to learning and community life, while developing into a supportive class. The ideal candidate will promote academic excellence while nurturing students’ spiritual, moral, and social development.
This is a full-time position with benefits and a retirement plan.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education (Master’s preferred)
- Valid state teaching certification (or ability to obtain)
- Prior teaching experience at the elementary level preferred
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Practicing Catholic preferred (or willingness to support Catholic identity)
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging instruction in core subjects (English Language Arts, Math, Religion, Science, and Social Studies)
- Integrate our school’s Core Values into daily lessons and classroom culture
- Create a supportive, structured, and inclusive classroom environment
- Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents and administration
- Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Assist with admissions by hosting prospective students for a shadow day
- Collaborate with administration, faculty, and staff to support school initiatives

Pay: $19.22 - $23.14 per hour
