Dermatology Medical Biller
Dermatology Practice is seeking a Medical Biller
We are a patient-focused private dermatology practice committed to providing top-tier medical and cosmetic dermatologic care. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a detail-oriented, experienced Medical Biller to join our team. This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate billing, timely reimbursements, and outstanding service to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Review, enter, and submit claims to insurance carriers accurately and in a timely manner
- Work with CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes specific to dermatology procedures
- Verify insurance benefits and eligibility
- Post insurance and patient payments; follow up on unpaid claims and denials
- Handle appeals, re-submissions, and patient billing inquiries
- Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with clinical staff and front office regarding coding and charge capture
- Stay current on billing regulations and insurance changes
- Cross-coverage at front desk (5-8 hours a week)
We are looking for a person who can work 20-40 hours per week. We have some flexibilities with work hours. We are open on Monday through Friday.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of experience in medical billing. Experience in dermatology or surgical specialty is preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Strong communication and problem-solving abilities

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
