Bodhi Express is a quick service restaurant selling plant-based Asian food. We seek a junior cook to work Sun through Thur evenings, 4:00 pm to 9:30 pm. We will train anyone who can show up on time and is self-motivated and willing to learn new skills. Some food service experience is helpful.
Responsibilities:
- Prep and cook food in a fast food kitchen environment
- Follow recipes and portion guidelines to ensure consistent quality
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area
- Wash utensils, pots and pans
- Sweeping, mopping, cleaning
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a fast food service setting like Chipotle, Honeygrow or Piada is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food preparation, storage and cooking is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Friendly demeaner and teamwork skills with good communications
- Hardworking, enthusiastic, self-motivated
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
Schedule:
Sunday through Thursday evening, 4 pm to 9:30 pm. Up to 28 hrs/week.
Pay: $18-$20 depending on experience plus shared tips (extra $1+/hr)
Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
