This is an opportunity for the right person to learn residential construction from the ground up while working directly alongside experienced field leaders. We are looking for someone who is motivated, dependable, coachable, and interested in building a long-term career in construction management.
Postion Overview
This role starts with hands-on labor and site support but is designed for someone who wants to grow.
You'll learn how projects are built from foundation to finish while supporting our superintendents and field operations team.
The right candidate will gradually take on more responsibility and may have opportunities to grow into a Lead Laborer, Field Coordinator, Assistant Superintendent, or Superintendent role.
What You'll Do
Job Site Support
- Site cleanup and organization
- Material handling and delivery assistance
- Jobsite cleanliness and jobsite organization
- Site preparation for trades
- Landscape maintenace such as watering and mowing
- Assist with maintaining a safe and professional job site
Construction Support
- Assist with quality control walks
- Help identify punch list items
- Photograph project progress
- Verify materials and deliveries
- Assist with trade coordination
- Support project closeout acitivities
- Help maintain organized project documentation
- Assist with homeowner and subcontractor walkthrough preparation
Assistant Superintendent Training
As experience grows, you'll be exposed to:
- Reading plans
- Scheduling trades
- Job site safety and compliance
- Quality control inspections
- Construction sequencing
- Buildertrend project management
- Customer walkthrough preparation
- Project scheduling and workflow managment
- Final punch and detail work
Required Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Ability to work outdoors year-round
- Team player and willingness to learn is essential
- Computer and Mobile App Proficiency
- Strong Organziational Skills
Prior experience working on construction sites or in related roles is highly preferred but not mandatory. This is not an exhaustive list and responsibilities will evolve as the role grows.
