Job Summary:
The Service Technician is responsible for diagnostics and repairs of power sport vehicles and may also include installation of upgrades purchased from the parts department. They must be up to date on warranty policies, unit safety updates, and product service trainings. They should enjoy learning new things and solving new challenges. They need to have strong time management skills and provide customer service to develop long term loyalty. A good technician adds value by increasing efficiency on service jobs to increase revenue.
Main Responsibilities:
Repairs and overhauls power sport vehicles
May perform maintenance and/or repair on any product sold by the dealership
Must be able to work with minimal supervision and direction
Operates in compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures
Any other duties deemed necessary for the overall success of the department and dealership as a whole
Must maintain a positive working relationship with all other employees
Required Qualifications:
Technical and/or mechanical abilities
Familiar with product lines sold in dealership
Attend service training when made available
Prefer current motorcycle endorsed driving capability and previous motorcycle or automobiles repair experience
Ownership of tools required
Must be able to lift, push, and move up to 100 pounds
Working hours are M-F 9am – 6pm & Saturdays 9am – 5pm
