Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Speech Pathologist to join our team! You have the opportunity to schedule your caseload as you see fit, but must be able to offer sessions at least 2 days a week. You will be working with adult/geriatric clients and need to have experience working with this population as you will be independent in managing their care.
As a part of our team, you get complete autonomy over your treatment planning as well as scheduling your caseload. Clients can be seen in our downtown office, in-home, or virtually. You will build amazing relationships with your clients with emphasis on functional goals and without the stress of productivity standards or discharge requirements!
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and treatment for adult and geriatric population including dysphagia, aphasia, dysarthria, apraxia, dementia, and voice disorders
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Provide in-person and virtual therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills
- Maintain timely and skilled documentation
- Educate and collaborate with clients, family members/caregivers, and other health professionals as needed
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid IL state license and certification in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience in adult rehabilitation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
