Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Field Operations Manager-Electrical to lead and coordinate electrical construction projects across diverse sites. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee complex electrical systems, ensure project efficiency, and uphold safety standards. As a key player in our construction management team, you will drive project success through strategic planning, meticulous execution, and effective team leadership. Your expertise in electrical engineering, system design, and construction management will be instrumental in delivering high-quality results on time and within scope.
Duties
- Lead the planning, scheduling, and execution of electrical construction projects, ensuring alignment with client specifications and safety regulations.
- Oversee daily field operations, managing subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to maintain productivity and quality standards.
- Review and interpret blueprints, schematics, and system designs to ensure accurate implementation of electrical systems according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Utilize project management tools such as Primavera P6, HeavyBid, ProCore, and Bluebeam for effective project scheduling, estimating, and documentation.
- Coordinate with project stakeholders to monitor progress, resolve issues promptly, and adapt plans as needed to meet project milestones.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and conduct regular site inspections to uphold safety standards across all operations.
- Manage contract administration processes including reviewing contracts, change orders, and ensuring adherence to project scope.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical engineering with a strong background in construction site management and electrical system design.
- Proficiency with construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid; project scheduling software including Primavera P6; and document management platforms like Bluebeam.
- Extensive knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code), schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and system schematics.
- Demonstrated ability in construction management principles including project coordination, contract administration, and time management.
- Hands-on electrical experience coupled with construction site experience is essential for understanding field challenges.
- Strong skills in project scheduling, construction estimating, contract review, and safety compliance are required.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients, teams, vendors, and regulatory bodies. Pay: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year
