About the Role
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for leading the end-to-end supply chain function across multiple projects. You will develop procurement strategies, manage supplier relationships, optimize inventory and logistics, and ensure the timely delivery of materials and equipment to project sites.
Working closely with project teams, commercial managers, and operational leaders, you will help drive cost efficiencies, minimise supply risks, and ensure compliance with company standards and contractual obligations.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement supply chain and procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.

Lead sourcing, tendering, contract negotiation, and supplier selection processes.

Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and subcontractors.

Manage procurement schedules to ensure project materials are delivered on time and within budget.

Monitor supplier performance, quality, cost, and delivery metrics.

Identify opportunities to reduce costs while maintaining quality and service levels.

Collaborate with project teams to forecast material and equipment requirements.

Manage inventory, warehousing, and logistics to support project delivery.

Mitigate supply chain risks through contingency planning and supplier diversification.

Ensure compliance with company policies, contractual requirements, and applicable regulations.

Mentor and develop supply chain and procurement team members.
About You

Essential Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.

7+ years' experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics management.

Demonstrated experience within the rail infrastructure, heavy civil construction, transportation, or major infrastructure sectors.

Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience.

Experience managing strategic suppliers and subcontractors.

Knowledge of inventory management, logistics, and project procurement.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills.
