Job Description
Machine Operator Responsibilities
-
Carry out production, inspection, packaging and machine operation duties

Setup machinery and effectively monitor production

Make required adjustments to machinery as necessary

Conduct quality spot checks at set intervals

Perform appropriate duties as assigned by management

Maintain a safe and clean work space
Qualifications
-
High school diploma or GED required. Associate technical degree preferred.

Prefer machine operating experience.
-
Prefer mechanical aptitude.
-
Attention to detail.
-
Ability to perform basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

Ability to perform job safely.
-
Ability to clean and organize work area (stack, sort, sweep, use solvents/cleaners, broom).
-
Must have a good verbal and written understanding of the English language.

Must be within a commutable distance to facility. Relocation support not offered.
Preferred Skills:
-
Ability to read digital micrometers.
-
Ability to read digital calipers.
-
Ability to use manual lathes or mills.
-
Ability to read and understand G and M codes.
