Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including specialty coffees, non-alcoholic drinks, and alcoholic cocktails with precision and flair
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Engage with customers in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their experience and promote menu items
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining spaces by following food safety and sanitation standards
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give accurate change while managing cash handling responsibilities
- Assist in food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring food safety standards are consistently met
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple customers promptly while maintaining quality service
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a barista or bartender is highly preferred; café or food service experience is a plus
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for sales processing
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
- Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and giving accurate change
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during peak hours
