Responsibilities
- Conduct the nightly audit process using property management systems (PMS) such as Choice advantage, verifying all transactions and balancing accounts to ensure accuracy for the upcoming day.
- Provide exceptional guest services by addressing late-night check-ins, check-outs, and guest requests with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Manage front desk operations during overnight hours, including reservations, cancellations, and modifications via hospitality reservation systems.
- Handle phone communication with guests and internal departments using proper phone etiquette, ensuring clear and friendly client communication.
- Follow hotel emergency procedures diligently, responding promptly to incidents or safety concerns to protect guests and staff.
- Prepare detailed shift reports, incident logs, and audit documentation to maintain accurate records for management review.
- Support guest relations by resolving customer service issues efficiently through problem-solving skills while maintaining a positive attitude.
Experience
- Proven experience in hospitality management or front desk operations within a hotel or resort environment.
- Familiarity with property management systems (PMS),
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle guest inquiries professionally and courteously.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly preferred to enhance communication with diverse guests.
- Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is essential for ensuring a secure environment during overnight shifts.
- Previous night audit experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for qualified candidates.
- Excellent phone communication skills combined with customer service problem-solving capabilities are crucial for success in this role.
