Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and customer-focused Front of House Team Members to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include taking orders, managing transactions, and assisting with various tasks to enhance the overall dining experience.
Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide them with menus.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the front of house area, including dining tables and service counters.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly while maintaining accuracy in cash register operations.
- Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service delivery.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong time management skills ability to complete multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage effectively with customers.
- Ability to work as part of a team while also being self-motivated when necessary.
- Knowledge of food handling practices and safety regulations is desirable.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
- Must be 18 Years of age as some duties may be in the kitchen once FOH is learned.
