Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and quality standards
- Handle food preparation tasks including slicing, dicing, and assembling ingredients with precision and care
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist in menu planning by suggesting new pizza toppings and creative flavor combinations
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, knives, and other culinary tools
- Support catering events by preparing large quantities of pizza for special functions or parties
- Serve guests promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience for all customers
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dietary department or dietary aide role is highly desirable
- Strong background in food handling, food safety practices, and kitchen operations within the food industry
- Proven skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly in a restaurant or fine dining setting
- Knowledge of menu planning, catering, and serving procedures to ensure quality service delivery
