Join UI Health Care’s Marketing and Communications department as a Marketing Coordinator.
Position Responsibilities:
- Implement marketing and communication strategies for specific campaigns and UI Health Care departments.
- Know and understand brand management principles. Demonstrate brand consistency in assigned projects.
- Coordinate execution of campaign tactics and provide support and services for clients.
- Support the success of the Kid Captain program, through project tracking and approvals, serving as liaison for families during game day week logistics and assisting with the logistics and planning of Kids’ Day in August 2026.
- Coordination of assets for Hawkeye Athletics sponsorship
- Communicate campaign deliverables, objectives, and timelines to the Marketing Communications team and coordinate the production and dissemination of campaign assets.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Relevant communications, marketing, public relations or administrative support experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including occasional evenings and weekends, when needed
- Ability to hold a valid driver's license, plus the ability to meet the University of Iowa Fleet Safety Program driving standards
Duration: This temporary position will last approximately 6 months.
FTE: 50% - 100% time
Core business hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. with occasional nights and weekends required
Pay level: 3A
