Responsibilities
- Oversee daily restaurant operations during assigned shifts, ensuring adherence to company standards and policies.
- Lead and motivate the team to deliver high-quality service and maintain a positive work environment.
- Assist in staff training and development, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manage kitchen operations, including food preparation, presentation, and quality control.
- Utilize POS systems effectively to manage transactions and track sales.
- Collaborate with management on budgeting and inventory control to optimize operational efficiency.
- Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or Shift Leader in a similar leadership role within the food service or restaurant management industry is preferred but not necessary.
- Strong team management skills with the ability to inspire and guide staff effectively.
- Knowledge of dining standards and practices is desirable.
- Experience in staff training, kitchen management, and food service management is advantageous.
- Familiarity with POS systems and their functionalities is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
