We are seeking a motivated and skilled Ford Master certified Automotive Technician to join our dynamic service team. Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using automotive electrical systems, schematics, and advanced diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Conduct repairs on various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains, and diesel engines.
- Execute maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake replacements, tire rotations, and alignments to keep vehicles running smoothly.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to disassemble, repair, and reassemble vehicle parts with precision.
- Repair and calibrate ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) to ensure safety features operate correctly.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical problems efficiently.
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process.
Requirements
- Proven dealership or service technician experience with a strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair.
- Knowledge of automotive electrical systems, schematics, and electronic control modules.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including wheel alignments and suspension work.
- NYS Inspector's license
- Ability to work with various hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and automotive service equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Valid automotive technician certification or equivalent experience; ASE certification is highly desirable.
