Key Qualifications:
- Current Minnesota teaching credential with endorsement in Special Education: Developmental Cognitive Disabilities (tier 3 or 4 license required)
- Proven experience or strong enthusiasm for serving students in specialized programs and meeting diverse learning needs
- Ability to adapt instruction, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and implement IEPs
- Strong communication skills with families, students, and school staff
- Commitment to an on-site presence throughout the school year (remote/voco not available for this position)
- Availability for the full academic term (August 17, 2026 – May 28, 2027), 35 hours per week
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and small group instruction aligned with students’ IEP goals
- Collaborate with administrators, teachers, therapists, and other service providers to foster inclusive learning environments
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate data-driven records
- Develop instructional strategies to support students in academic achievement and behavioral growth
- Engage families and caregivers as partners in their child’s educational journey
