Duties
- Provide personalized customer service by assisting with product selection, offering product information, and answering questions with clear, friendly communication.
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions, including cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Maintain attractive merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked, organized, and appealing to customers.
- Manage inventory by stocking shelves, tracking product levels, and notifying management of low stock or discrepancies.
- Deliver cannabis orders safely, professionally, and on time
- Communicate professionally with customers over the phone for order confirmations or inquiries using proper phone etiquette.
- Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding cannabis sales and delivery procedures.
Experience
- Prior experience in retail sales is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated proficiency with POS systems, accurate cash handling, and retail math calculations.
- Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette for engaging with customers remotely.
- Knowledge of cannabis products or related industry experience is beneficial but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is essential.
- Managing product knowledge and helping customers make informed purchases
- Maintaining clean, organized sales floors and displays
- Provide friendly, solution‑oriented customer service
- Following company policies, safety procedures, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Must be 21+ with a valid Maine driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must have a valid medical use Registry Identification Card
- Ability to pass all state-required background checks
- Evening, weekend and holiday availability is required
- Comfortable driving in Maine weather and traffic conditions
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Cannabis knowledge is a plus, but we’re happy to train the right person
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
