Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our dynamic manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machines to fabricate precision parts and components according to specifications. This role requires a strong understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
- Set up and operate CNC machines, including Mazatrol, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
- Fabricate parts using various materials while following technical drawings and CAD designs.
- Utilize power tools and manual machining equipment as needed for production tasks.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using bore gauges and other measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met.
- Maintain tooling and equipment in good working condition, performing routine maintenance as required.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and improve machining processes.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in operating CNC machinery with experience in programming and setup.
- Familiarity with CAD software, particularly Fusion 360, for interpreting designs and creating machining instructions.
- Ability to fabricate components accurately, demonstrating strong attention to detail.
- Experience with forklifts for material handling is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding techniques is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Competence in using power tools and measuring instruments such as bore gauges.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
