GMP Project Support (Remote – SoCal)

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced consultant to take over additional project workload in our quality and regulatory operations. This is a great opportunity for a GMP specialist who can hit the ground running on compliance and quality systems work related to cosmetics and dietary supplements manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Support and maintain GMP compliance programs aligned with ISO 22716 (Cosmetics GMP) and 21 CFR 111 (Dietary Supplements cGMP)
Take ownership of assigned projects, including documentation review, gap assessments, SOP updates, and corrective action implementation
Conduct internal audits, supplier evaluations, and risk assessments as needed
Assist with deviation investigations, CAPA management, and change control processes
Collaborate remotely with internal teams to ensure timely project deliverables
Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and best practices for cosmetic and dietary supplement operations
Requirements
Strong working knowledge of ISO 22716 and 21 CFR Part 111 (required)
Proven experience in GMP consulting, quality assurance, or regulatory compliance within cosmetics, dietary supplements, or related FDA-regulated industries
Ability to work independently on project deliverables with minimal supervision
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Experience with document control, auditing, and quality system implementation is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
Previous consulting or contract experience
Familiarity with additional standards such as ISO 9001 or HACCP
Background in manufacturing environments is required
