Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Guest Service Agent to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for all guests. This position involves working at the front desk, managing guest relations, and handling various administrative tasks to support hotel operations. A background in hospitality management or hotel experience is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest accounts.
- Respond promptly to guest inquiries and requests, providing information about hotel services and local attractions.
- Handle reservations, cancellations, and modifications using multi-line phone systems and hotel management software.
- Conduct daily audits as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area to enhance the guest experience with daily cleaning task as needed.
- Assist in resolving guest complaints or issues with professionalism and courtesy.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery for guests.
- Uphold high standards of phone etiquette when interacting with guests over the phone.
Experience
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality roles is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with hotel management systems is a plus, along with knowledge of night audit procedures.
