Responsibilities
- Prepare and assemble a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and handled in accordance with food safety standards
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, mixers, and knives
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pizza station, including sanitizing surfaces and utensils regularly
- Assist with menu planning by suggesting new toppings or specialty pizzas to enhance offerings
- Follow proper food handling procedures during meal preparation and serving to ensure quality and safety
- Collaborate with team members to deliver prompt, friendly service in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen operations preferred
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper food handling techniques
- Strong knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
- Experience working in restaurants or the food industry, especially in fine dining or catering settings, is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with kitchen staff and front-of-house personnel
- A passion for culinary arts with a focus on pizza making and food presentation
