Position Overview
As a Maintenance Technician, you will work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and community team to ensure our property remains safe, attractive, and well-maintained. This hands-on role is responsible for completing maintenance requests, preparing apartments for new residents, maintaining grounds, and contributing to the overall success of the community.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Maintenance Supervisor with daily property operations and maintenance activities
- Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs throughout the community
- Prepare vacant apartments for new occupancy, including repairs, cleaning coordination, and inspections
- Maintain the appearance and safety of community grounds and common areas
- Assist with seasonal maintenance, including snow removal and ice control
- Identify and report maintenance concerns to ensure timely resolution
- Support community goals through teamwork, professionalism, and excellent customer service
Preferred Qualifications
- Mechanical aptitude and general maintenance knowledge
- Experience with one or more of the following:
Plumbing
Electrical repairs
Drywall repair
Painting
- General apartment maintenance
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to providing outstanding resident service
